What is Inspection Certificate?

An inspection certificate is a document that confirms that goods have been inspected and are in compliance with the terms stated on the sales contract. It’s often required for importing specific goods, such as industrial equipment, perishable items, and meat.

The inspection certificate normally includes the following information:

  • Names and addresses of the shipper and the consignee
  • Description of the goods being inspected
